CAA issues newspaper on 12.5kg LP gas chambers

The Consumer Affairs Authority (CAA) has given an exceptional newspaper warning on Wednesday(9) coordinating all makers and dealers of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) to guarantee that satisfactory amounts of the homegrown chambers weighing 12.5kg containing Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) will be ready to move at all LPG deals outlets island-wide.

The Gazette notice further expresses that, no broker who currently possesses or guardianship or under his influence the homegrown chambers weighing 12.5 kg containing Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) for reason for exchange inside Sri Lanka will won’t sell the homegrown chambers weighing 12.5 kg containing Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) or in any way straightforwardly or by implication urge customers not to buy such chambers.

This Direction will become effective from 09th June, 2021.
